The moment we walked into the restaurant it smelled like moth balls. We ordered the seafood kalguksu but it only had 1 shrimp, 1 mussel, and 1 crab leg 😒 Save your money and go elsewhere

I love their soup and noodles, everything tastes so good and the noodles were made fresh from the dough in the kitchen! Kimchi and chili sauce is good too.

It's so delicious here. I liked it better because it wasn't overly seasoned and was mild. Boss, may you be in business for a long time 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Great variety of food. Everything tasted so high quality. Run by a sweet korean couple who make delicious food! There’s something for everyone here. Can’t stop thinking about how chewy the kalguksu was! It was like my grandma made it, will be dreaming of this meal! Please go support and eat great authentic korean food!!!

It was the most expensive meal I had in the Carrollton area of Dallas and I even felt bad after eating it. The price range is more expensive or not.
Really, most of the time I just ate the whole thing and left without saying anything, but it was hard to eat even half of it.
The staff is friendly and the hall inside is clean and nice.
Seolleongtang- The meat is not seolleongtang meat, it is thick and dry. The more problematic thing is that the meat has a foul smell that has been left in the refrigerator for a long time. Of course it was so tough that I couldn't eat it. The smell even permeates the soup, making it disgusting. A smell and taste that cannot be found in a restaurant specializing in seolleongtang.

Doganitang - it had no smell and was okay. The soup isn't delicious, but it doesn't smell like the refrigerator.
There was eyebrow-like hair stuck in the crucible.

Soybean paste stew - I ordered stew, and it had tofu, pumpkin, and pepper in a clear soup like miso soup, but there wasn't even enough soybean paste, and it was just like plain water, making it hard to eat.
This is a menu item that the cashier did not particularly recommend, but I ordered it anyway, so I have nothing to say, but I ordered it without knowing that the soybean paste would be so delicious.
Stewed mackerel - I was a little hesitant because it was recommended as delicious and it wasn't the main menu, but I ordered it.
The mackerel is stewed with purple mackerel, so the seasoning of the mackerel is very salty, but there is no stew seasoning at all, and if you dig into the mackerel, you are just eating plain mackerel.
The potatoes inside were undercooked. Of course, there was no seasoning, so it just tasted like potatoes. Even the seasoning itself wasn't boiled down enough, but rather boiled like soup, so there was no intention of losing the seasoning of the ingredients.
Dumplings – Not delicious, but they are so different that they feel average.

Side dishes - 4 kinds of kimchi and pickled vegetables, you can add them yourself and they are delicious. So I thought the food would be delicious, but I was very disappointed.
I won't be visiting again, but I sincerely hope it was just for today.

It feels like a country meal with barley rice ssambap and soybean paste. The dumplings you make yourself are healthy and delicious. Overall, the taste isn't strong, but I actually enjoyed it.

Overall, the food and the restaurant itself have a depressing atmosphere. I ordered seolleongtang at a seolleongtang restaurant, but the portion was small and the broth didn't seem to be fully boiled. I thought that bibigo seolleongtang cooked at home would taste better. The parts that seemed to be lacking in terms of hygiene were also very obvious. The owner is nice and seems nice, but the restaurant is disappointing.

There was meat in seolleongtang...two thin slides...ㅡㅠㅠ
I think it's too harsh...ㅠㅠㅠ
I went looking for it after hearing a rumor, but I was so disappointed.ㅠㅠ
I wish you were more faithful to the content.

It's been five years since this place opened, and unfortunately after checking this place out again..it feels run down. There was a small fly on one of our dumplings. The 물냉면 broth was not icy cold, just mildly cold. Kinda depressing.

It's a seolleongtang restaurant, but the kimchi was a mess;; The basics of a seolleongtang restaurant are kimchi and radish radish...

My soulmate hates kimchi mandoo (kimchi dumpling). But we are about to clear 25 kimchi mandoo today bcuz it is sooooooooo good. This is like the best mandoo I have ever tasted. I am buying it again

My partner doesn't eat kimchi dumplings
I ate all the kimchi dumplings because they were delicious. I bought 25 frozen and cleared them in one day.

Excellent kalguksu (homemade knife cut noodles), noodles are cut and cooked to order, they had a nice springy texture, anchovy broth was clear and flavorful. I wish they had added just a few more veggies. Kimchi mandoo flavor was good and as expected.

Their kimchi is top notch, they have 3 different types, my faves were kakdoogi (radish) and yeolmu (young radish leaf), regular kimchi was fresh with nice flavor.

Kimchi and water are self serve, the tables and area are very clean, you’re expected to clear your table.

Prices are very reasonable, the 2 ladies that work there are really nice, go support a local mom and pop place!!

I went on a Sunday morning when there were no customers and still looked forward to eating, but I think it would be difficult to open a seolleongtang restaurant in Dallas. I ordered dogani soup because it was a bit cheap, but it was mostly just plain soup and there wasn't much of it. The owner was friendly and kept watching TV on his cell phone like in a Chinese restaurant. I was a little embarrassed because it was my first Korean-style restaurant in a long time after the coronavirus pandemic. Even if it's far away, I'm willing to go for a chopping board or a pot.

I felt like I was in Korea eating the noodles and homemade dumplings. The self-serve was very comfortable and it was such a queen and tasty place!
