Taste of Chengdu is the go-to place for authentic Chinese food, with delicious dishes like spicy chicken and twice-cooked pork. While the ambiance and service may not be top-notch, the food more than makes up for it. The Mapo tofu has the right sauce consistency, and the Chongqing chicken is fresh and crunchy. The beef with pickled vegetables is a pleasant surprise with tender beef slices. A great spot to get a taste of Sichuan cuisine without driving far, although some dishes like the crispy pork could use improvement.
