This was our first time to eat here. We ordered online and got it to go, and we'll definitely be back soon for the chicken and tacos! We had a half chicken meal and chicken taquitos--both very tasty! The 5 chicken taquitos came on double mini corn tortillas topped with onion and cilantro. Coupled with a small side of guacamole and some salsa, there was enough to turn the 5 taquitos into 10 with the doubled tortillas. The sweet plantains were a nice side too. Surprisingly,...
Not sure why it’s taken so long to do this review… perhaps it’s because we have El Pollo Rico so often! Usually 2-3x per month. We generally get the same thing… a whole chicken with the sides (beans, rice, onions, salsas). The food is simply good! Our “go to” for a last minute meal. We’ve also had the Caldo de Pollo (chicken soup), which is also good. Easy dinner via the drive thru lane! Recommend El Pollo Rico, give them a try!
We had much better food at other El Pollo Rico than this one in Cedar Park. Found a bone in the chicken quesedia that we hot for our kid. Luckily, she took it out and did not chew. Anyway, there is hardly any chicken in their quesedia.
