Been closed since April, have marked it permanently closed several times. It's currently gutted and going through a remodel for another tenant. The Leander location is still open.

Loved to get food here for lunch prior to Covid but it looks like the CP location is now closed. I hope to see them open again nearby.

Sorry to see it is closed. Note fromLandlord said the tenant has been evicted due to non-payment of rent.

Been wanting to try this place & of course had to order takeout with covid. The shells were very crispy and good, green sauce was great, but all the meats didn't have very much flavor. We also had chips and queso/guacamole that were pretty good. I may come back when we can dine in to have it fresh.

I like the food at this restaurant but don't order anything to day online. We placed our order and they took our money but when we arrived at the restaurant no one was there the doors were locked and the phone went directly to a message and the phonebook was full. Needless to say after waiting 30 minutes we had to leave without our food. So disappointing!

This place is amazing. If you're gluten-free, this is a hidden gem! Miss having crispy tacos you could eat without worrying about allergy contamination? These are made in-house. I may be wrong but I believe the staff/menu said it's a 100% GF kitchen. Either way, I've never had a reaction in all the times we've been, and I've never been so happy about tacos in my life.

I love Guaco Taco. Hardest thing to do is pick what I want!! I love the original taco, the chicken cali club (with bacon ?)

Good tacos. Prefer the hard shell, but the soft shell are very good too.

Everyone has different tastes, and there are certainly a wide variety of places to choose from if you have a craving for tacos. The staff was friendly and the service was good. Today's visit included three menu items, a taco salad with carnitas, a crispy original Guaco taco (with beef) and a BLT Taco. There are several homemade sauces to choose from, all were quite tasty and well prepared. The tacos were certainly crispy, after the first bite the shells tended to shatter. No complaints with either taco. The taco salad was quite ordinary, served in a plastic container, with a large amount of carnitas. Of the three selections, this was the most disappointing one. I respect those who are fans of this place, and as I said earlier, there are lots of choices in these parts for tacos.

Try their crunchy beef tacos with the spicy ranch ! Really good homemade taco shells! Really sweet lady working at the front she was very friendly and helpful!

They have changed the menu, the tacos were still good, but the seafood gumbo was good but extremely over priced. I spent 40 on 6 regular tacos and the gumbo.

This place is nice, and a good change of pace from Torchys and Taco Deli. I liked that everything was fresh and the restaurant itself was clean. The cashier was nice and I liked the salsa station. The tacos tasted good overall, but I thought the tortillas were a little small for the amount of toppings packed on top. I also think they were a bit pricey for the amount of food served. I also got the gumbo, which was more like tortilla soup with rice and sausage in the sense that it was broth based and you could taste the individual ingredients instead of being meld together like gumbo typically is. In both the tacos and the gumbo the chicken was tasty but were chunks instead of shredded. Its a minor annoyance but it did make both meals more difficult to eat. I will go back to try some of the other options, like the 5 layer taco or the nachos.

It looks like I originally rated Guaco at 4 stars because I wished the tacos were the size of Texas (I was pregnant so of course I did). I take it back. This place deserves all the stars. We do taco Tuesday here often (I can't make tacos like these, not even close) and even my pickiest child loves going here. She only eats like 4 things, and Guaco Taco is one of them. 2-3 tacos here is actually plenty! We love the people who work here. They are so nice to our kids who are usually bouncing off the walls. The other night, our daughter complained that there was a sprinkling of pico on the queso right as it was being set on the table, which I was admittedly embarrassed about. When we ordered queso last night, the kind lady who we always see on Tuesdays asked if we'd like to leave the pico off. I just thought that was so sweet and customer centric. We go to the other location sometimes too. I think I prefer this one but the other one has margaritas etc. so there is reason to go there too on occasion. I just saw that they sell their salsas and you can come back to buy refills. Definitely need to do that too! I like all four, but the pineapple habanero salsa is my all time favorite salsa.
