I mean you could do a lot worse! There isn't a great pizza place within 10 miles of jets. That alone makes it a must on any Sunday afternoon. I have tried pizza on 5 continents. I have dipped my nuggets into sauces of many flavors and I can say without hesitation, I count Jets among my all time favorites. I love grease. Cheese Grease has a flavor unparalleled ! Those days of ordering Pizza Hut's cheesy stuffed squishy meh are Gone With The Wind.
I had never heard of Detroit-style pizza before trying Jet's Pizza, and I'm a big fan now! For those who aren't familiar with the style, it's deep dish pizza that typically layers some toppings below the cheese and use a really delicious crunchy crust to add in that extra crunchy texture in every bite. Jet's doesn't disappoint there, I ordered their 4 corner pepperoni pizza and was very pleased with the result. Best fast pizza hands down! I freaking love this place and their deep dish pizza and the 8-corner pizza. Get the turbo and Cajun crust with bold pepperoni...it's so good! I was so sad when jets in North Austin closed but so happy they're back! I'm completely confused with all these people saying the price is high or they had a bad experience. $18 for a large 8-slice deep dish is pretty average IMO. It's 10x better than pizza hut, little Caesars or dominos and way more affordable...read full review
