My waitress, I believe her name was Sonia a very calming soft spoken blonde, was one of the best wait staff I've experienced. The food was the same as it always is, great. One thing I can say for certain, Serrano's is always consistent with their food no matter where or when I go.
Some friends and I tried this after a shooting day. If you are going for authentic Mexican cuisine you are going to be disappointed. If you, like me, are going for Tex-Mex then you will be pleased. The food was good and they have a nice variety. The service was great and the atmosphere is what you expect from a mid tier Tex-Mex joint.
This was the best Mexican food I’ve had in awhile. We tried getting into Lupe Tortilla in Round Rock but there was an hour & a half wait. We were like yeah no. Driving home we passed Serrano’s & turned around. I am so glad we did! We were seated immediately in the bar area (at our request to watch sports). They have 3 tv’s, for which they turned on the play off game we requested. We order queso perfecto, street corn, Pollo Loco, a side of grilled vegetables...
