"You Eat with Your Eyes First" a quote associated with Apicius, the 1st Century Roman gourmand. This was certainly the case at Soto Sushi Cedar Park, where I enjoyed omakase with family during a recent visit to the area. As strong as that statement is in reference to the wonderful offerings from the Soto Chefs... do not let it detract from the delicious tastes provided as well. The best omakase I've ever had. Bar offerings TOP NOTCH as well. 100% recommend.
We go here regularly for sushi and never have had a bad experience. The specialty rolls and sashimi are always amazing. The regular rolls are also very good and fresh. They always have a large selection of cocktails, mixed drinks, liquor, and wine. Service is always too notch as well.

Based on the reviews, Soto is an amazing restaurant offering not just delicious food but a whole experience. It is a hidden gem with an incredible vibe and a relaxed environment. The service is second to none, with attentive staff who provide great recommendations. While there are some expensive things on the menu, it is not expensive for what you are getting, and it is a place worth saving up to go to. Specific meals mentioned include the Garlic Super White, soft shell crab tempura, truffle edamame, karage chicken, jalapeño salmon, Kawasaki lunch special, Truffle MASUter, Kinmedai Special, Hirame flounder, spicy scallop and white tiger rolls, and uni pasta. The restaurant is beautifully kept, with attention to detail in both service and the craft of sushi and sashimi. Soto NEVER disappoints, and everything is grade A+.
