after every friend I've ever had begged me to try sushi, I finally went to Takara and had my first sushi eating experience. The food and service were both amazing, I had an excellent time.

I never go anywhere without getting dessert, so the best praise I can give is that the coconut prawns, the risotto, and the sushi were all so good that I let myself get way too full to even order dessert.

Very good sushi, tremendous hot & sour soup.
I like the sushi here, but the hot & sour soup might be my favorite thing about this place.
Ask about the lunch special.

Whenever I’m in Austin/Cedar Park I always visit this establishment. The food was great just needed a bit more spice (for me). Nice atmosphere, nice waitress. My only drawback was the low lights, the screaming kids. Also, may want to explain to the wait staff about providing friendlier service.
