“Yes, I would recommend them, but they lost me as a customer on Monday. A couple of weeks ago, I was having a baker's crisis. I had a particular order for a cake, and I could not remember where my cake pans were because our shop typically specializes in cupcakes, so I went to an over-the-top cake shop to get some cake pans. Before I purchased them, I asked the young lady if I could return them because I might not need them if I found mine. She said yes, so I went ahead with the purchase. Luckily, I was able to find my pans. So, on Monday, I went back to the over-the-top cake shop to try to return them. Before looking inside the bag, the lady behind the counter told me loudly, "Oh no, we will not take any returns." I honestly thought she was joking with me at first. LOL, but it turns out she was not. She proceeded to show me the receipt that clearly stated all sales are final. I apologized and told her. Unfortunately, I did not look at the receipt because I asked and took the young lady at her word. She asked me for the young lady's name, and I said I did not get her name because I did not assume she would give me the wrong information. I said, okay, I understand, and shame on me for not getting the details. But is there a way I can get a store credit since I buy most of my supplies there? Without hesitation, she said we won't do that either. I struggled with that because these were unused cake pans, and the labels remained intact. They have cake pans on shelves that they could have quickly restocked. I struggled because I bet many small businesses or self-employed bakers purchase our supplies there, and most of us do not have the luxury of spending money unnecessarily. At this point, it is not about the pans but the principle. Again, I understand their position if the items had been opened or used. Today, most reputable businesses have a return policy and not a Gotcha practice. So, I will return to ordering my supplies from Amazon, which is much more convenient for me. I would like to support local businesses if possible. But not when that support is not reciprocated. So buyers, beware!“

“We used 2tarts for our wedding desserts and it was amazing. They were not only delicious, they made our cake tasting a special event. We worked with Erin, and she was so charming. Everyone truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, and the tasting is a precious memory for me now. The actual cake was beautifully done, on-time, and tasted delicious. We had nothing but positive feedback from our guests, and many people even took selfies with the dessert table! It looked that good. Me and my husband (woo!) had a slice of the blackberry cake which was possibly the best cake I've ever had, but our "anniversary" layer, which we ate the next day, was pistachio, and that was incredibly delicious. We got a four-tier cake with different flavored layers, and individual apple pies and slices of gluten-free, vegan cake. The options were so great we almost didn't know what to pick, but we were so happy with the end result! If you are in the area and looking for your wedding cake and desserts, 2tarts is the right answer!“

“We hired Danielle to do our wedding cake and I can’t believe how amazing it turned out!! My now husband is not a dessert guy and we were struggling to find a flavor he thought he would enjoy. We did a tasting with Danielle and he DEVOURED all 4 flavors in one sitting. Not only was the cake the best freaking carrot cake we have ever had, it was also beautiful. You will not find a better person for your cake needs. Picture in comments!“
