“I love their beers and their food but unfortunately went there tonight and found out their kitchen closes at 9. They didn't tell us this even though we were sitting there looking at menus. The kitchen used to be open until 11 so it's weird that it now closes at 9 especially when they are open until 12. Makes it hard for us to visit here in the future because we both work late and like to eat while drinking to unwind from the week. We decided to close out and leave to go to another place that does serve both later than 9. When we asked if they would ever be open later again, their bartender basically told us we would have to complain to management and if enough people did they might start to re open the kitchen later again which is weird that your customers have to complain just to have you revert decisions or that you wouldn't tell paying customers the kitchen was closing so they could order before cut off.“

“For many years I’ve taken my sons to this IHOP because who doesn’t love breakfast at anytime of the day? Food and service is always good. Staff is friendly, often with familiar faces. My only issue here is cleanliness which is every Corpus area restaurant for the most part. Just attention to detail. Also, why are the floors always sticky?“

“I ordered online right after getting gas at HEB on 96. A truck pulls in front of me and is taking a minute to order. I ordered at least 5 minutes prior, so I went around to the window cuz technically, I'm not cutting. I ordered first. I'm asked to pull forward, and then the truck pulls forward. We both get our food at the same time. I clocked in 3 minutes late for work. Thanks, Wendy's ! Also, it's fricking crazy that these combos are 12.00 bucks“

“I saw a video on line and was surprised that my town actually had a hippo burger with in driving distance. 18 miles from my house and I will most definitely be making that drive again. I ordered the #6 mushroom Swiss and I added blue cheese to it with a cheese tater tots. Food came out hot and fresh and pretty quick I only had to wait about 5 minutes. The burger is huge cooked to a medium well with topping spilling out of the looks to be a potato bun. So good the tater tots were popping hot and good as well.“

“I had a terrific experience Tookie's Seafood restaurant. It's now my go-to place in the Kemah area. The service and food were spectacular. I highly recommend going y to dine here. I was so impressed I just called for Christmas gift cards and spoke to Jared King. He did such a fabulous job on one $50 gift card with adding 10 extra dollars for free that I ordered another one for my nephew. I live out of town so Jared is mailing them in the morning to my friends and family. I couldn't be happier. Haley and Skyler also helped in the process. It was such a wonderful experience. “In and Out is the fast food restaurant to be at! They are timely and almost always 100% accurate on their orders. The food tastes a lot cleaner than your average fast food restaurant, with greasy food being at a minimum. I always enjoy getting their puppy patties, with a side of pickles for a little bit of a healthier option for a good price.“

“I had never had Whataburger before until I came to Texas. They have really good burgers and I like their fries. I tried the whatawings and didn't like them but then again, I am not a huge fan of poultry. Oh yeah, the patty melt is awesome!

Vegetarian options: Don't know about the vegetarian options because I am not a vegetarian.

Dietary restrictions: Although I should probably have some dietary restrictions I do not impose them on myself.

Parking: I have never been to any Whataburger location that didn't have a place to park.

Kid-friendliness: I know they have kids meal and I believe you can choose from several different options.

“I’ve eaten a hell of a lot of burgers in this area and Durb’s is my #1 burger spot. The meat is well seasoned and everything is fresh! Occasionally they do fried shrimp as a Thursday night special and the shrimp are big, flavorful and just gorgeous. On the weekends, they feature different scratch-made desserts too. The man behind the food is so talented. He even makes a great gumbo, cheesesteak and elote hot dog - all on the weekends menu! I feel lucky to have this place so close to home, but my waistline disagrees 😆 Best burger around. Check it out! You’ll be hooked.“

“For as much people hate on fast food, there is a reason for it. I go on walks every day, and whether it's getting a breakfast sandwich, or a chicken sandwich. Sometimes just a drink or when it's really hot outside, getting an ice water and somewhere to sit so I don't get a heat stroke. This is the nicest (Not just cleanliness) atmosphere you will ever find. The staff care about their guest. They check on you. Ask if you need anything. The food is always hot. Always timely. I enjoy stopping here on my walks, again even if it's just for a soda and to sit for a moment. I always feel welcome. I recommend this location to any and everyone, even if your just thirsty for something to drink. Even have a TV.

“It's been a long time since I've actually been at a Fuddruckers - I actually pulled up the directions for someone else's benefit - but everything about Fuddruckers is the gold standard of burger making. The only caveat I'll offer is that if you go to one that's been open less than six months, chew the burger carefully! An inexperienced butcher at the old Yonkers NY location once included a small piece of bone in my burger back in the late 1980s.

Dietary restrictions: Due to the fact that they cut, grind and patty the meat right there in the restaurant, I don't think their burgers can be certified as kosher.“

“We picked up breakfast from here along the way to New Orleans. I had heard great things about Whataburger, and I was happy with it. It wasn't amazing but it was cooked nicely, hot and fresh and the service was good here. If you like hash browns get another order. They went very fast for me. Good breakfast.“

“We were driving by Kemah and decided to stop by for a beer. We walked around the various bars in the area, and most of them were very empty, probably because it was still early (around 630p) on a Saturday night. But when we walked past this place, it was buzzing. There were 3 or 4 small groups in their outdoor terrace, and you could feel the energy. Music was playing but not getting much in the way of conversation, so it was a nice atmosphere. We went inside to grab a beer. The bartender was busy, and when we asked about their IPA beers, she said we should look at the board. The electronic beer menu was flipping fast, so I could not quite go through one page before it got changed. We saw one we wanted to try, but after she walked back to the tap, she returned and let us know they were out. We finally got one we liked after a second try. We then walked out to the patio where the atmosphere was a bit more fun.

Of the places in the three blocks we walked, this seemed the most fun. If it was not for the electronic beer menu changing on me, I would give it 5 stars.“

“I recently hired Gator's Bar and Grill to cater a small private party held on Tiki Island. Gator's owner, Marjorie Morgan was awesome to work with. Her and her team are experts when it comes to catering. I asked for a more upscale menu palate. I know, most think of Gator's as a casual dining experience but Marjorie and Chef Lena delivered exactly what I was thinking. From the initial contact, to the location walk through, the meal prep, table set up and then the meal served, they made it stress free. I asked for a girly salad- a strawberry, walnut spinach with a delicious balsamic vinegar dressing. The main course was grilled 6 oz beef tenderloin filets- grilled on site with a yummy garlic parmesan potatoes with a creamy peppercorn sauce and sauté asparagus. Dessert was a cheesecake mousse. It was all fantastic. Dinner was planned to be served outside with a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, the lovely coastal sea fog rolled in just as Dinner was to be served. Marjorie and her staff quickly switched gears and flawlessly moved main course inside. Our guests were very impressed with how they perfectly executed all of our requests. If you are thinking of catering an event, Marjorie and Chef Lena are who you should call. Don't let her restuarant name fool you into thinking they only do bar food. They were a class act that will rival any high end restuarant. Thanks again, Marjorie, Chef Lena, Corey and Keith. You all made our small event a success“

“I love this place so much I'm going to go eat there with my wife right now. Freddy's has usurped Whataburger for me and it was my first job because I've always enjoyed it so much.

Point to make too. Every time I open the whataburger app everything is always more expensive (about every 3 weeks.) Freddy's? They kept steady and actually LOWERED THE PRICE BY 20 CENTS FOR SOME THINGS. That's insanely awesome when everyone else keeps raising them to see what they can get away with. Current date is October 30, 2024.

Definitely recommend Freddy's, their burgers and ice cream. Ooo and the cheese curds. Everything else is good but ok👍.“

Can't recommend this place enough. Also as a tabletop gamer. This place is good for Chess and to bring friends to place Cards.

The only small downside is I would not prob ever dine in as the summer time sun is set right on the place in the afternoon and the restaurant has nothing but glass windows in the entrance area so it was very hot in there but nothing they can really do to help this other than stop global warming.??‍♀️?“

“does IHOP was great compared to the IHOP in our town. are waitress was super nice the food came out it was perfect there was one mistake but she was happy to fix it we didn't have to wait forever for it to be fixed she didn't try to blame us for it. even though they were quite busy as it being the first day of spring break she was still coming to our table several times making sure we had what we need while we ate.“
