“The food here is so so. Usually I get the shrimp quesadilla and it’s really good but they overcook the shrimp this last time. I do like going here to watch the football game on Sunday. When the Cowboys are playing they give out little raffle tickets and at the end of every quarter they call a serial number from the tickets and if it is, you win a prize. Good prices on beer. Only thing I don’t like about this place is that every bartender makes a margarita differently. Some put orange juice in it some don’t. In my opinion orange juice does not belong in a margarita. So if that’s not your style just request no orange juice in it, and they will accommodate. Servers are very friendly and attentive.”

“Definitely recommended. Me and the fam were very satisfied with their food. We had corn in the cup, Agua de Mazapan which was delicious, Birra tacos, and a hamburger. They did not disappoint. Everything was so good! And they owners are super friendly! Thank you for the great food and great service .”

“I’m not sure why there is a recent bad review on google, but please take those with a grain of salt. Sofia’s has been our go-to for YEARS, and I am not even a San Elizario native. Sofia is always here and when you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm smile and welcome from her, her daughter Nancy, and the comforting home-town atmosphere. I always feel like I’m inside a huge family dining room. My go-to is the Plato Mexicana and it never disappoints. Their burritos, flautas, burgers, enchiladas, and breakfast items are also really good. These are just our normal orders but everything is phenomenal. Love that they also bring you chips and salsa with a cup of whatever caldo they have that day (menudo, Fideo, posole, etc.). Will forever be loyal customers here, and you won’t regret if you are too.”

“Went there to buy 15 lbs of masa prepared for tamales at $2.00 a pound and 2 bags of corn husks at $6.00 ea the masa was freshly prepared and the husks were nice and clean ? I usually go there to purchase them. I like the Masa flavor.”

“Everything was delicious I ordered the k dog and made my rock bowl a meal so I got 3 Mandoo it was perfect the dog was half and half with regular crust it came sauced perfectly and was crispy and delicious the Mandoo were crispy and juicy and delicious and the bowl was bomb too I liked blending all the textures and flavors in my mouth with the sauces on it cabbage is awesome in there and rice and those sauced noodles are awesome and slurpy and chewy like the rice the chicken is really crunchy and good”

“Today I passed by there and it will be my favorite place. I ordered some chilaquiles in green sauce with eggs and beans, they were delicious.
They served me a Menudo broth if I asked for it and it was 10 out of 10 super and the horchata too.
The waitress was super friendly and the owner too.
And the place is very well decorated and clean.”

Will definitely return & refer all our friends. Very clean inside large patio plus staff was happy & polite. So friendly made it a great experience. “El Paso NEEDED Cafe Piro…the menu is incredible and diverse while staying true to its roots and without being inaccessibly bougie. You HAVE to come try it! And their coffee is unquestionably the best you can find in the area. My family in Austin would have to bring beans from Austin when visiting El Paso but not anymore! The staff was so generous and kind, we will certainly come every time we visit El Paso!”
