“This place is AMAZING!!! Not only do u get to eat in peace while your children play outdoor games, but the food and drinks are Awesome!!!! FINALLY! Someone who knows how to make a long island in this town, and BRI WAS awesome! She was so attentive to our needs and paid attention to evry detail, no mistakes! The service and the food is AWESOME! “I did a 3 Day Juice Cleanse a while back and loved it! The juices were fresh and tasty, and Bobby, the owner, emailed me throughout to check in, which was a nice personal touch. I felt refreshed and energized by the end. Highly recommend!“

“It’s a nice place with diner vibes. I will say our waitress was one of the most cordial and gregarious person I’ve ever met! Charo was super sweet, helpful and welcoming. I was impressed with the historical setting as well with the causal family type vibe of the restaurant. The lunch menu was great, offering an excellent variety of tasty options and all well priced. We had a quick stop for lunch prior to our visit to nearby Surfside Beach. What a great find. Clean restaurant and restrooms too. Plenty of free parking. Nice area in Lake Jackson.“

“0/2015: Again this place never fails, food was excellent, Chicken fried steak with the garlic mashed potatoes and the Fish and Chips were awesome. Reagan our server was very professional and very courteous.I stop by Saturday night (2/19/22). Very nice place and a very nice atmosphere. Freddy was the server and he was very professional and very courteous. The place was pack but he was checking very often that everything was right. The only issue and is not about the place is the parking area common to all the business in that street.“

“Went in with no expectations, and glad I did. The customer service was great. The ice cream is top tier. The chicken tenders and fries were really good. A bit salty but still good. 2 of my tenders were over cooked but by the time I finished my ice cream and fries I didn't care. Prices aren't bad either. Highly recommended.“

“My son and I LOVED this lovely family owned restaurant. Neatly decorated, clean as a whistle. The food was delicious, plentiful and the service exceeded our expectations. We will be back!
Vegetarian options: It is easy to find meat free dishes on the menu. But, if you are vegan this might not be for you. You'll have to ask your waitress if the beans, tortillas, ect. are free from animal products. I did not do so.
Parking: We didn't have trouble finding a spot, but the lot is small so don't come when it is super busy.“

“We always eat here when we are visiting our daughter. I loved the schnitzel, and the authentic German potato salad and sauerkraut. All are made fresh and can be paired with a large selection of beer. The atmosphere is friendly, and we always have our grandchildren with us.“
