Drove down to Surfside beach from Montana. Searched for BBQ and found this fabulous place. Great BBQ and friendly folks. Would take the time a go again!

Lonestar Barbeque serves up some of the best barbecue in the area. The brisket is melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the ribs are smoked to perfection and not dry. The homemade barbecue sauce has an awesome taste, and the jalapeño poppers are the best around. The friendly service and owners focus on attention to detail to ensure a consistent, high-quality dining experience. This family-owned restaurant is close to home and a valued member of the community, providing a welcoming atmosphere for all. The smoked turkey was juicy and tender with the right amount of seasoning. The bacon wrap sausage was moist and flavorful. The three meat plate with brisket, ribs, and chicken was cooked to perfection. The baked potato salad had a superb taste and is something different. Prices are fair for the amount of food.
