“Great service! My friend and I saw the cafe while driving and figured we’d pop in to see what it was like. The owner, Tom, had assisted with making sure we got taken care of even though we had a time crunch. Within seconds our waitress had taken our order and shortly thereafter our food was ready. Definitely a great spot to check out in the Greater Houston area and specifically Conroe if you’re wanting a wonderful start to your morning!“

Today i got the chicken ball an green beans instead of fries an they where awesome will keep purchasing from him. Really good you wont be disappointed. Very friendly also. No mixing frying chicken in fish grease each has its own frier . So chichen doesnt tadtr like shrimp or catfish. Cholesterol free oil no MSG at all. Which is like for me a heart attack i cannt have even a speck of MSG without going into shock. So i am so grateful they are a responsible food provider. While I was waiting, Jerrald took the time to tell me about Brazilian street food, which was such a cool experience. They were both incredibly positive, welcoming, and genuine. They truly are the definition of real hustlers. Highly recommend!“

“Recently had my husband’s 40th birthday party here using their private room area and it was great! Nelson was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The servers worked hard to stay on top of everyone’s tabs and the fajita buffet was perfect! No one left hungry and the birthday boy was extremely happy with everything!“

They have tea, coffee, frappe, and more!!Its been 3 years since my initial review and I just wanted to edit it and say this is still one of my favorite places to go in Conroe / Montgomery area because of the delicious coffee, milk alternative options, nice staff, good atmosphere & it’s one of the few places I can get Charlotte’s Web products which are great for people like me that suffer from Photosensitive Epilepsy.The staff are very welcoming, very polite, & professional. They won’t recommend products that they know nothing about & will be honest about it too. It makes a difference. If you have any sort of allergies they’ll help you pick & choose products that don’t have what you’re allergic to in it as well. If it doesn’t say on the ingredients list the staff will help you search it up online. Very sweet of the staff because they don’t have to do that but they do - they care & it shows.That’s what keeps me coming back time & time again.

“We visited Whistle Stop Cafe for the first time on Sunday. 8/24/25. I’ve heard of it but never found myself in the immediate area. It wasn’t super busy at the time we visited. We had a couple of orders of chicken strips and gravy with fries and a Patty Melt with fries. We ordered Fried Green Tomatoes for an appetizer. I’d give all the food a solid 10 ⭐️ No complaints for anyone at the table and after we were full, we still needed To Go Boxes to take the rest home. The Fried Green Tomatoes were the best I’ve had in many years. Our waitress was nice and kept our drinks full and asked if we needed anything along the way. She was very accommodating. Id definitely visit again.“

We were seated in the 'wine' room, which was semi private & we had the best server ever (Johana) She was so pleasant & efficient & nothing was too much trouble for her. “We went to Casa Olé tonight and was amazed. the food and service were top notch. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Drinks, Chips, and salsa were there almost immediately. The food was fresh and some of the best I have had at Casa Olé. Martha was very sweet, attentive, and kept us laughing. She is for sure an asset to keep. “The best fast food tacos! I used to live and work in the Metroplex and Taco Bueno was a multi-weekly lunch and dinner favorite. I really loved their Two-Handed Taco, now it's called "The Big Freaking Taco". I can't get enough of this place. The place is clean, the employees are friendly and kind, the salsa is fresh and they aren't stingy with how much you use and most of all the employees aren't racist like they are at Taco Bell. Conroe, really needs this Taco Bueno. I'd love it if Taco Bell packed up a left town. Everyone needs to give this place a try and see for themselves that the tacos don't go soggy before you get them home and there is enough fresh pico and salsa for everyone.“
