Be careful arriving hungry...they first get you with the smoke smell then the big display of meats which you will take too much of....buts that's the right way to do it. Whisky slush should also be something you try.
I'm a lover of amazing bbq, raised in front of the coal fire by my dad. This was a hard 6 to 6.5 for me, easily forgettable except for the fact that it was pricey. Sausage had a good snap but nothing memorable after. Chicken was decent. Side of Mac and cheese was definitely shells and cheap cheese. It just felt like the story got lost over the years and Hard 8 isn't bothered with trying any more and with this economy and bbq being increasingly pricey, I'd rather...
Very good bbq and pricing isn't too bad either. You could smell the meats from the street. The brisket was super tender and the chicken was delicious. That chocolate pecan pie was tasty as well. The customer service was top tier. One of the better barbecue spots in the area.
