We recently visited Dallas for a real estate conference and had the chance to eat at Hard Eight BBQ — what an incredible experience! From the moment you walk in, the smoky aroma sets the tone. In from out of town for the weekend. My first Texas style BBQ experience and it was hands down the best barbecue I’ve ever had. I got the brisket sandwich, Mac and cheese, corn and a couple of bacon wrapped chicken brush poppers.
The brisket was tender, flavorful and had a nice smoke to it. As first timers, the flow of ordering, paying etc was a little unclear but we figured it out.

The I have tried the brisket, sausage, pork ribs and poppers. I tried the cornbread salad, creamed corn, beans, and peach cobbler.
