I would come here JUST for the side of black beans. Love coming here for lunch. Super friendly staff. I usually get the beef or chicken tamales, but they're all good. I always get at least a dozen frozen before I leave. 11/10
Stopped by on 4th of July after reading the reviews. I got the chips and salsa, pork and beef tamales. They were very good and home made. So much so that I bought a dozen to take with me and put in my freezer. The lady at the counter was excellent, friendly and attentive. The salsa was delicious and food came out quickly. It’s a small simple place with no frills appearance wise, but definitely worth stopping at if you want delicious tamales. I saw several people pick up...
Dont listen to the other reviewers who speak poorly of this place. They are bias against Texan Mexican cuisine, and only prefer bougiee tiktok places. The food here is great, only place where you can get the best frito pie year round, and tamale chili bowl with rice and all the fixings. If I could eat here every week I would.
