Located on the southside of Corpus, Baare BBQ is a new local barbecue spot with a line out the door. The food is very delicious and worth the wait, as they sell out 9 out of 10 times. The brisket is incredibly tender, moist, and well seasoned, with generous servings. The pulled pork is full of flavor. The Trinity meal and Sampler offer plenty of food, with enough leftovers for another meal. Sides like creamy Mac and cheese, tater casserole, jambalaya, cheesy tater tots, cucumber salad, cowboy beans with cilantro and bacon, and cornbread with honey butter are very tasty. The jalapeño sausage is excellent, and the banana pudding is a favorite. Service is quick despite a long line, with friendly and attentive staff. They also give a military discount. This quality barbecue restaurant is a top-notch spot, highly recommended for bringing family and friends.
