My friends and I tried Baare (one initial from each of Brett's family members) on a Saturday in September, 2026. Loved it. I had a sliced brisket sandwich (smoked with post oak) and my friends had pork ribs and maple burnt barbecue tips, all so fine. They gave our Veterans a nice military discount. Food was great. The ribs are cooked with post oak which gives it a great mellow taste. Rib glaze was outstanding and in house. Moist brisket was very good. Personnel and facility very good.

Located on the southside of Corpus, Baare BBQ is a new local barbecue spot with a line out the door. The food is very delicious and worth the wait, as they sell out 9 out of 10 times. The brisket is incredibly tender, moist, and well seasoned, with generous servings. The pulled pork is full of flavor. The Trinity meal and Sampler offer plenty of food, with enough leftovers for another meal. Sides like creamy Mac and cheese, tater casserole, jambalaya, cheesy tater tots, cucumber salad, cowboy beans with cilantro and bacon, and cornbread with honey butter are very tasty. The jalapeño sausage is excellent, and the banana pudding is a favorite. Service is quick despite a long line, with friendly and attentive staff. They also give a military discount. This quality barbecue restaurant is a top-notch spot, highly recommended for bringing family and friends.
