About time I write a review because the food is just too good. This is such a great spot to eat lunch alone. The atmosphere is very soothing, and the service is very fast & helpful. My favorites so far are the meatloaf, fried fish, and lemon baked chicken.
Portis Kountry Kitchen is hands-down one of the best spots for true Southern comfort food. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and fried to golden perfection—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The meatloaf was absolutely amazing—tender, flavorful, and smothered in just the right amount of sauce. Every bite felt like it was made with love. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home cooking, this is it. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We really enjoyed the food. I had fried fish, mashed potatoes with gravy with greens and peach cobbler. My husband had fried chicken, mac &cheese with yams. Everything was so delicious.
