The food is plentiful and so delicious!!! The waitress Gloria is really kind too and attentive! My son Sagun and I enjoyed it. We will return again and again. Blessings.
My wife and I absolutely both loved our first experience at The Astor. It’s nearly 70 years old so yes she has a lot of character, but the service, hospitality and food was absolutely amazing! Our server Maria was friendly, attentive and made excellent recommendations with regards to the menu. We have family coming into town in a few weeks from our visit and most certainly will take them here for a meal. A Corpus Christi Treasure!
So I understand it’s a very old establishment, which I love, I love an old vibe, but it just FELT dirty, tables were sticky, it was warm, the cloth “napkins” were stiff and didn’t feel very clean, service wasn’t horrible, staff was fairly friendly, but the food🥴…we were recommended the ribeye or the fajita plates, dude said they were voted number 1 steakhouse in town, raved about his fajitas.
