This HEB was just ok for me. The produce section was fresh & had great prices. However, lots of items were not available that I usually see. There was a organic section but it was kinda small. The fresh seafood & meat section was ok. They carry fresh LIVE Louisiana crawfish so that def earned a star. They also have a nice selection of fresh antibiotic free grass fed meats. Me and my husband stopped by there today to pick up shrimp for supper. The older gentleman behind the counter, we found out his name is Dan, helped us out and saw that we were looking at some other items. He came around the counter, handed us one of the ones were looking at with a card and said "here I'll buy this for y'all today!" We will definitely be spending our money here!!! He was wonderful! Well, I have been anticipating going to an H-E-B for a long time now. I have now scratched it off my list & I'm so very disappointed! This store was old, worn-out & a little on the dirty side. Just picked up some produce & some apple turnovers, which were stale. Love me some Central Market, & will see you soon! The cashier was friendly.
