Tex-Mex Restaurants near Crystal City

“My wife, her family and I took a day trip out to Crystal City. We were planning to eat at Miguelito's but they were closed. An employee at Miguelito's suggested Anthony's as an alternative. We arrived about the same time as another couple and we were the only ones there but others began to slowly trickle in. They had a good variety of dishes to choose from and had daily specials too. I went with the Popeye's Special which included enchiladas, two tacos, rice and beans and a flour tortilla. We also had chips and salsa, however it was not gratis. The plate was very good for the most part. I wasn't impressed by the rice or beans, but the enchiladas, tacos, tortilla, chips and salsa were great! I was pleasantly surprised. It took a little while to get our food but there wasn't much else to complain about. If I am ever back in this area I would definitely consider stopping in.“

“Great place! I would give them the coveted 5th star if their menu had just a little more variety. Food was good, service was perfect, atmosphere (we were there for lunch) was very relaxed and many guests were using their "festive voices".“

“I had the frog legs and they were tasty along with the loaded baked potato. The portion was very generous, I barely finished.I felt a little weird being the only one dining at the time. I asked the waitress why it was so slow and she said I was there after the lunch rush and before the evening rush. Made me feel better.This is a small town restaurant with a small town look.The food was good enough that I would return if ever in the area again.“
