“We had the lunch specials and one, they were delicious and 2, they where just the right size, and 3, they were budget friendly. The staff was extremely friendly and nice. The atmosphere was rustic and barnyard-sheek (is that a word?) And it was perfect. Tons of retired locals, ranchers, and farmers were all chowing down together, laughing and joking with each other.“
“I had the cheese burger basket that was on special and It was a good chew with plenty of fries. It was an all great American classic cheese burger. While eating, I found out about their house made root beer soft drink, A lot of customers said it was good. Staff was friendly. Iam looking forward to coming back.“
“I drive back and forth through Cuero, and I’m glad I stopped here. Had a tuna salad sandwich and 2 of their packaged cookies that were for sale on the counter. The sandwich was GREAT! Reasonably priced. The cookies were better than I expected. The facility seems clean, and the service is friendly. I love “hometown” diners. I’ll be stopping in again!“
