“Hubby and I were so glad to have dined here. He ordered a steak and Inordered the fried gizzards and the boudin. The Gizzards were yummy. The batter was flavorful (not just salty) and the gizzards tasted fresh (not old, like it had been in the fridge for long), thus, it’s not rubbery and didn’t hurt my jaw (and teeth). Perfectly done. I didn’t like the boudin though. It is not as flavorful as I expected (having had boudin in numerous places in Texas). The place and ambiance is great. A very relaxing and enjoyable place to dine. The place has a bar which was just too high (as the seats appear to be short in height). Overall, we love the restaurant and definitely recommend it. We will definitely be coming back.Parking: The parking is on the square just across the restaurant. It is free and provides ample parking; but it is a shared parking with the other establishments in the area.“
“My grandson asked for small pizza and it was sooo large, he couldn’t eat it all of it by himself. I tasted it and it was absolutely delicious. The chef that makes them is very good at his task. My husband got the ‘Come and Take It’ hamburger and he said it was great. I had chicken and spaghetti, and my food was fair. Though the sauce tasted good, the chicken was a little dry. The atmosphere was good, we saw most older guys and women drinking, eating and conversing in animosity.“
“I came to Fire City Grill with a group of 14 on a Saturday night for a bachelor/bachelorette dinner party and everyone who was working was so patient and kind and provided excellent service despite there only being two people working at the time!! The food was excellent as well, the patio is great and they were playing awesome music. Excellent atmosphere and amazing service! Thank you so much for everything!
