“Absolutely amazing! The food was fresh and tasted out of this world. I got the BBQ burger and the mustard and white sauce mix was delicious and it was my first time trying anything that tasted like it. The service was outstanding and the owner personally came around and took our order and explained the menu.“

I get the pabellon every time and I’m never disappointedETA: we came recently and while I still crave pabellon on a regular basis the prices have gone up so astronomically that I can’t justify the cost anymore. I swear in the 3 years since I went for the first time it’s gone up $5. “Best Venezuelan cheese empanadas in Houston by far!!!! With a Super crunchy outer layer and smooth creamy inside. filled with enough cheese to make you smile for the entire day. Location is a bit hidden but totally worth the drive. It's my first stop in Houston, coming from the Loussiana ports after working with the oil ships. Long live Maracaibo! ! ! Marcial the owner-manager always with a smile will make you feel you are back at least for a moment in El Zulia. I'm left short! The cheese empanada with garlic sauce…he who knows, knows! “This is a great spot for delicious Venezuelan food. I come here often for lunch and so do many of my colleagues. Their patacon sandwhich with shredded beef is ah-mazing if you love plantains and their chicken salad is delicious if you are trying to be healthy. They have an extensive menu and many options that I haven't tried yet. The place is small but clean and the service is good. You won't be disappointed!“
