For the amount of people in this place you think it would be updated but it felt old and due for a makeover.

Absolutely beautiful space, large, well appointed, plenty of private areas. Lots of drink stations. Food was not bad, and available in different locations, though needed a little more variety. They are working on getting rid of the plastic cups and cutlery. Glad I went, and would go back.

Great spot waiting for your next flight ✈. I'm in an Admirals Club somewhere 30 weeks each year.

Day pass sales were curtailed due a large number of people already present with membership privileges. Attitude of the front desk staff was arrogant & confrontational.

DFW, TX. American Airlines.
The location that serves American Airlines DFW, TX at Gates 33 and 34, are by far the worst ever. AA employees were rude, aggressive towards their passengers, extremely unorganized, and did not take the time to assist passengers with a disability.
Evening of July 26, 2026, flight got delayed due to mechanical problems, hot inside airplane, had to change planes, and the desk agents were very rude and were not helpful assisting a passenger with a disability totally ignored the patients needs.
When boarding at gate 34 it was a disaster they did not know what they were doing it was a total disgrace. Than once on the airplane the stewardess with an elevated voice tone demanded passengers to rush and get in their seats so the pilots would not have to lapse in time. At each time her voice increased with angry it was super unprofessional.
Public bathrooms toilets were clogged up, floors were dirty, and staff did not speak English.
Getting to one side of the airport inside the terminal the monitor screens you could barely read very outdated, no staff walking around to help passengers, no handicap assistance.
Overall, DFW /American airlines and area Gate 33 and 34 failed everyway possible. Horrible experience.
Don't fly into DFW and avoid flying American Airlines. Horrible!!!!!

Sadly, this lounge is tired and past its prime. The staff is top-notch, but the rest is stuck in another era....

The lounge is only average in terms of food and beverages but OK. It was crazy busy when we were there as well as the weather meant loads of cancellations and diversions. Hence my rating. The AA staff there at the customer service desks had such a difficult job yet from what we experienced were able to solve people's problems way better than we had been expecting with flexibility and knowledge. Thanks
Busy lounge, well staffed and well stocked. I had to search for a while before I was able to get a seat, but turnover is pretty high so it wasn't too long before I scored a spot.
I used to like the airline clubs when they cared.
Nowadays, it seems they tolerate you in their space. Everything is basically self serve, hard to find anyone to help, unless you want a drink so you can leave tips.
They used to allow first class passengers in the yesteryear. I can spend 8 grand on first-class tickets and they now won't let me in, although I can get a free membership with some credit cards for far less. Nonsensical treatment if their top travelers and spenders.
And one l once in, their very limited offerings, including private space for waiting, is extremely limited these days.
If hold your money and memberships and get the global access to the international lounges, they are far more inviting and respect your presence far more.
