Cafe Nubia Reviews
Good food, great decor, perfect lighting, and comfy seating. Lovely outdoor patio. A sophisticated vibe. Service was slow but our waiter and the other wait staff were so nice! Will definitely return.
Cafe Nubia has been a go-to spot for me for over a year. Both me and my husband have celebrated birthdays there and most recently hosted our rehearsal dinner. Reserving that special day with them was easy and we were so happy with how everything turned out! It was a beautiful night at a beautiful place and we will be back to celebrate 1 month of marriage with them!
I love the gospel brunch. The music and the food was great.

Cafe Nubia offers a vibrant bar-like atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. The venue is clean, well-decorated, and provides excellent vibes for social events like birthday parties, group gatherings, Thursday Ladies Night with karaoke, and Sunday gospel brunch. The food is consistently described as delicious, tasty, and good, with specific highlights including the breakfast, oxtails, spinach dip, and lemon pepper Nubia wings. A reverse happy hour with a special menu is available on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 9-11 PM. Drink options like bottomless mimosas and cocktails are generally praised.
However, customer service is a recurring issue. Multiple reviews mention slow, inattentive, or uneven service, with long waits to order, forgotten requests, and problems like unattended hookah coals. Automatic gratuity for small parties and occasional overuse of autotune during live music were also noted as drawbacks. While the fun atmosphere and good food bring people in, the service experience can be inconsistent and a significant turn-off for some guests.
