“I went here with a couple friends on a Friday night and had a pretty good time overall. The place had a nice energy without feeling too packed or crazy loud. Drinks came out pretty quick and the bartender was friendly and actually took time to recommend a few things. Music was decent too, loud enough to keep the vibe going but you could still have a conversation. We hung around longer than we planned because it just felt comfortable. Food was better than I expected honestly. Def one of those spots I’d come back to again when I’m in the area.“

Drinks are cheap and not lightly poured and the crowd varies depending on what day of the week/time of day it is! Old school 8 ball tourn Sunday nights at 8 and tge 1st Sat of every month at 3pm. I was so happy and pleased to see how awesome these gold hearted employees return my hat its a rly cool hat too and anyone could have easily kept it for themselves but they msgd me back and said they found it. It still feels like a historic estate but with contemporary comfort. The grounds are well-kept and impressive, and my room was comfortable and stylish. The bar was a highlight, serving great drinks—the margarita was a standout. The restaurant delivered solid food with a good wine selection to match. “After dinner, our group headed to The Library at Melrose Hotel for drinks, live entertainment, and a fun night out — and it did not disappoint. The place was packed with a great mix of people: SMU graduates celebrating, couples on date nights, a bridal party, and our lively group of eight.

The drinks were excellent, and we shared pizza and cheesecake that were absolutely spectacular. The atmosphere was energetic and fun, although we all agreed this place could use just a little more space for weekend crowds because it stays busy!

The waitstaff was hustling all night long, keeping up with the crowd while still providing great service. We even ended up doing a little dancing and thoroughly enjoyed the live entertainment by Aubree-Anna. You can absolutely see why she’s built such a loyal following in the DFW area and was voted “Best Lounge Singer” by D Magazine. She brought such a fun energy to the night and made the experience even more memorable.“

I do want to point out one person, her name is Keona, let me just say how sweet and kind this young lady is; she always greet me, my husband, and others with a smile and kind words, she is the reason we purchased a membership. If you are nervous about going to Colette, don’t, the atmosphere is a club environment with rooms in the back to do lifestyle activities, the staff will also tell you everything you need to know when you get there, but also do your research about this lifestyle.“

“Honestly, a great hotel restaurant for dinner.
I ordered the 10oz tenderloin medium with the loaded sweet potato, husband ordered the burger and fries and we shared a side of Mac and cheese. The steak was VERY good and cooked perfectly medium. The sweet potato was…okay but I’m not a big fan of them anyway. The Mac and cheese was so good. Big shells and creamy not watery. We also ordered dessert to go and that was great to have in the room. Staff was so nice and laid back but professional. All in all. A nice surprise!“

“I came in on a Saturday and bought general admission just to grab a quick bite pool side. When I walked in I saw reserved seating (that cost money) and I saw FREE day beds that were first come first served. I noticed people were leaving their belongings on the free day beds as place holders, while they got in the pool. So I asked wait staff was this allowed, and 2 of the girls collectively said “no they shouldn’t be doing that”

So I walked back in and sat at the free day beds, filled with stuff, and a white man approached me and said this is my bed but it’s okay I’ll let you stay here. I chuckled and said yeah the wait staff already told me I’m good. And startled by my response he said no I’ve been here all morning , and I said yes at a FREE day bed. You can’t just leave your stuff here as a placeholder and expect to have it reserved all day. Reserved seating cost money and you didn’t spend any money. And then he threatened to have me kicked out. Lol, it amazes me how they think they have this much power especially when they haven’t spent any money. Eventually a waitress came over took my order and I gave her my credit card and she completely ignored this disgruntled man because she wanted to make some money!“
