Sandwich had potential, except for the fact it gave me food poisoning. It was made poorly with the meats not hot, by a staff that seemed bothered by having to do their job, all while being overpriced at $22 for a salmonella sandwich and fries. It's the cumulative effort of all these transgressions that leave this place at 1 star. I'm sure with better staff that served non-spoiled food, I could bump it up to 3 or 4.

The brisket wasn’t very good. It was sliced too thick and was mostly cut with the grain of the meat… making it stringy. There also wasn’t much fat on it which made it less than flavorful and a bit dry. The crust was tough and hard to chew. It’s airport bbq from a chain. In the back of my mind I kind of knew what I was getting, but I was hoping for better. The bar staff were nice and helpful. The potato salad was ok and the bbq beans were good.

The bar overall is decent and the drinks are fine. Charging so much for an individual drink should be illegal. I’m not sure what the goal is- perhaps the idea is to charge so much that people don’t get drunk at airports, or the owner wants to maximize profits because they have control over a market beyond security that they can manipulate for their own benefit. If it weren’t for the good service of the bar staff, this place would collapse.

Jose’s service went above and beyond for me. When you enjoy treating people well the food tastes even better. And for DFW airport BBQ this location for me tops it off. Will be returning.

$10.50 for a very sorry sandwich that is nothing more than a McDonald’s like bun and a small portion of meat. Think Arby’s regular roast beef size portion. Needed to go somewhere else after to actually eat a lunch.

I know Brisket. And I bought the brisket sandwich. Off the top it smelled funky. I told my partner to smell it he confirmed. I did not have time to deligate. Took 2 bites and I was already feeling gross. Also never seen a brisket this many strings. Dry and smelled horrible..im disgusted ?.

Tried to sit at the bar! There We’re definitely enough seats for 2- but people had luggage on bar seats! The bar tender did not seem to care! I do not understand why people can’t move down a seat in a bar! Your loss! Definitely the bar tenders Loss!

So, if you're at DFW and have time to head to concourse B, Cousin's BBQ is a much better choice. I tried Dickey's because I was on C and didn't have time. The food was disappointing but not bad. I had the 3 meat plate. The pulled pork was tough and not very flavourful. The brisket was ok, but I missed that Texas brisket flavor and smoke. It was more like slow cooker roast. The ribs were pretty good, but none of the three sauces jumped out as amazing. The sides were good. Fried okra was great, but there was nothing special about the potato casserole. The workers were super friendly and generous with portions.

Service was good and sides were fine, but y'all, please take a look at the brisket. It was halfway to jerky. Too dry and tough, and I couldn't finish it.

Stopped in with a friend to have a drink while at the Dallas airport. We ordered 2 cosmopolitans, nothing special. I was a bit surprised that our bill ended up being $50. I'm aware airport prices are always higher but this seemed excessive for what we ordered. The atmosphere is very casual bbq and the service was very minimal. I have to admit it's my own fault for never looking at prices so I don't fault the business. I'm only writing this review to give future patrons a heads up to really take a good look at what you are paying for. We went next door to another establishment 2 minutes away and paid nearly half for better cosmos.
