“The food delicious, I thought the flavors were perfect. The servings are huge. One beef tibse platter is enough to feed 3-4 people. The staff was very welcoming and polite. The place is a bit small so definitely not enough seating for big crowds. I’d definitely come again.“

“Flavorful, authentic food and friendly people. We travel to Dallas infrequently (from Florida), but whenever possible we go out of our way to stop at Arif Cafe. The inside is simple and humble, but the service is so warm and the food, most recently beef tips with veggies and honey wine, its just amazing. So thankful for this place!“

“Love their food it’s very deli and amazing quality! The restaurant is so clean and comfortable to sit and enjoy alone or with friends! The waiters are so fast and make sure your order is how you want! The bathroom is spotless clean and there decorating is nicely done. Their cafe is also the best they serve all types of coffee. I love this place!“

“The food was made fresh and was really tasty. Service was also amazing I told her it was my first time ever having Ethiopian food and she told me what she thought the beef would be a good first try and that she would tone down the spice since I told her I couldn’t handle spice that well. Over all amazing experience and I will definitely be back to try the lamb. 10/10“

“Good healthy drinks, but a suggestion...replace lids to a more sealable tamper proof style. To prevent any tampering when ordering from the likes of those delivery apps👍“

“This place is legit a gem. The food is ridiculously delicious. With my favorite Ethiopian spot shutting down last year, I’m so glad I found this place. This is definitely the best Ethiopian spot in Dallas that’s open. One of the best spots for African food. It’s a small mart with only a few tables!
I had the beyaynetu (vegetarian platter) and beef tibbs. The beef tibbs was so flavorful and tasty. The broth/liquid it sits in is amazing. Dipping injera in that was so good. The vegetarian platter was incredible. The different lentils and peas are cooked to perfection with delicious spice.
I also had shiro! It’s not on their display menu but they’ll make it for you. It’s a chickpea stew and great to dip injera in! The Ethiopian coffee was also really good.
Very friendly staff and service. During my meal, different staff members came up to me at different times individually to see how everything was going. I really appreciated that.
Please try this place if you haven’t! It’s proof that Ethiopian cuisine is one of the best cuisines you can experience. I will 100% be returning for a second visit.“

“Yummy and delicious. First time here. So glad I tried the food. The veggie platter and 4 meets were excellent for two people. The flavors popped. Such comfort in the food. The service was excellent. The honey wine was so good. The coffee was also a nice finish to the meal. Thoroughly enjoyed it.“
“This was my first time ever eating at a store like this. It’s a very small grocery/ kitchen that cooks authentic Ethiopian food. Spices and scent was really strong but the food I tried was really good. They said it was lamb. This dish normally comes on some kind of bread but because I’m gluten free they were able to accommodate me with rice instead. I just thought $17 bucks was a bit much. But lamb is not a cheap piece of meat so I guess I’ll pay that price because I will be back.“

“First time trying Ethiopian food! I have always wanted to try Injera bread and the veggies combo was delicious - my fave was the collar greens, the yellow potatoes, and the cabbage. My husband ordered the other plate and liked the soupy flavor but didn't think it was lamb, it was goat.“
