“Arif Cafe is a cute, cozy spot for very affordable Ethiopian food! The woman running the spot is very friendly and accommodating. She even gave us free sambusas! As someone raised on Ethiopian/Eritrean food, this place definitely holds up and is great for anyone new or familiar with the cuisine.“

“Yes! Best example I have ever had of an exotic and amazing cuisine. Strongly flavorful food without excessive salt or oil or excessive “heat”.“

“I was coming back from a ride and decided to try this restaurant as it was close to my home and new to me. This was the first time in years that I had had Ethiopian food. I’m telling you it was a great way to return.Their Geba Weta is a great dish. I’m sure all of the others are just as good. I’m going back for one of their lamb dishes, soon. The owners and staff are exceedingly welcoming, the dish I had was great and the atmosphere was inviting. ግሩም“

“This is a small supermarket that has a small section with a few tables for dining in. The veggie and meat sampler offers excellent value and the sambusa was nice and crispy with a good amount of spiciness. The taste of each of the veggie items was pretty good and comparable to others good Ethiopian places in DFW.“

“Good healthy drinks, but a suggestion...replace lids to a more sealable tamper proof style. To prevent any tampering when ordering from the likes of those delivery apps👍“

“5 stars is for the food. Service isn't always speedy and it isn't the fanciest restaurant, but my girlfriend and I eat here at leat 3x a mo th minimum. Everyone we introduce to Ethiopian food here comes back. The Lega Tibbs are amazing. I could eat tons of it. The injera is great. We generally get a veggie sampler and a meat dish. L9ve this place.“
“This was my first time ever eating at a store like this. It’s a very small grocery/ kitchen that cooks authentic Ethiopian food. Spices and scent was really strong but the food I tried was really good. They said it was lamb. This dish normally comes on some kind of bread but because I’m gluten free they were able to accommodate me with rice instead. I just thought $17 bucks was a bit much. But lamb is not a cheap piece of meat so I guess I’ll pay that price because I will be back.“

“I have no idea what these people are talking about with some pretty intense and overblown criticism. I’m not Ethiopian but I’ve been eating this stuff for 12 years now. Regularly. I’ve tried Ethiopian food all over the country and this place deserves its respect. We had the kitfo, beef tibs, and veggie combo dish and I’ll tell you, gooood good. The beef itself melted in your mouth with that buttery marinade. Everything was so good all together. So, please be fair when reviewing this place.“

“The best Ethiopian food we had!! But dont come if you cant stand hookah...everyone else except us was smoking hookah in the room. Also I do notice they chargerd 1-2 dollars more compared to the menue price, but consider the huge potion. All good.“
