The best food and service.
Having tried quite a few Ethiopian restaurants in my area, I can honestly say Zemen stands out as the most authentic. The flavors remind me of back home, and the hospitality makes you feel like you’re experiencing Ethiopia, not just having a meal. Truly a special place.
So far all the death I tried is absolutely full flavor! Love every bite

Zemen Bar & Restaurant is a clean, modern spot that offers authentic Ethiopian cuisine. The waitress is very welcoming and treats guests like family, ensuring service is impeccable. The menu features dishes such as the sizzling Derek Tibs, rich and buttery Kitfo, and perfectly spiced Asa Gula (fish). The breakfast combo is freshly made and has a good portion, great taste, and can be shared. Portions are generous, and the taste is described as something else. Many visitors say the food is delicious and the overall experience is outstanding. The restaurant is family‑run, bright, and clean, and the service is excellent. It is considered one of the top Ethiopian restaurants in the US and the best Ethiopian food in the DFW area.
