Food was great, service was good, and clean environment.Even though there are multiple restaurants to choose from in Dallas area and this location, this cafe offers great services and food.I would definitely recommend this restaurant whether you trying out some Ethiopian/Eritrean food, or just going out dinner, give this place a try and you’ll get good results.Vegetarian options: They have some vegetarian options.“

“This was our first visit and first experience with Ethiopian food. We were seated right away, and our server made great recommendations. We enjoyed everything! I read the reviews on the ginger tea and was not disappointed. The tea was a favorite. The portion sizes of the entrées were large enough to serve family style. This was definitely worth the 30-minute drive.“

“Yosis, the owner, was such a great host to me and my parents. He cared a lot about food allergies and making sure we were happy. And the food definitely made us happy. I have a feeling when my parents visit me in Dallas next time, they’ll be asking to go back here.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free injera bread that they make in-house.“

“Arif is a hole in the wall and my ratings and reviews are in that context. After seeing it on Google I wanted to go and drove into Dallas to try it out. It's a little hard to find as the entry doesn't face eastbound Park Lane, but well worth the trip. The dining area is small and functional. Tables are equipped with a napkin dispenser which will come in handy for any injira based dish.I ordered the veggie combo and it was amazing. Each component was tasty with just the right amount of savory or spicy.I ran out of injira and the owner brought me some more. The compact size of this establishment allows for more attentive service.Arif is an off the beaten path Ethiopian eatery that is well worth checking out.“

“The food was outstanding, you can tell the kitchen puts a lot of thought into the dishes and I really enjoyed it - I had the firfir Tibs, the meat was well seasoned and it had a nice kick. The atmosphere was great for our party - we had about 13 people with us and the food came out on time for us all. We enjoyed drinks with the owner and overall had a great time. We had a birthday in our party and they made sure she felt special on her day. I highly recommend the restaurant- parking was easy and getting in and out was a breeze.“

“My fiancé brought me here for dinner and my first ever experience with Ethiopian food, and we agree that there is just nothing quite like this in Dallas. The food was absolutely delicious: spongy, tasty injera and the most flavorful and exciting veggies I've had since moving here. The lamb stew was rich and deep with a subtle, sneaky spice. Jonas was so welcoming, friendly, and informative: he gave great recommendations and was so kind to talk us through the different dishes, treat us to sambsas, and make us feel so welcome. In short: come here!!!“

Sheger Ethiopian Grocery ,Ethiopian Food to god. Ethiopian •
10190 Forest Ln #125, Dallas

“This hidden gem is a must try! The restaurant is inside of the grocery store. Although, the interior isn't as appealing as your traditional restaurant, the food is delicious. The flavors are exquisite, especially the lamb tibs, with the following sides: collard greens, beets and cabbage and potatoes. Your palate will thank you. Better than some of the popular Ethiopian restaurants.“

“This was my first experience with Ethiopian dishes. I enjoyed the flavors, spices, and presentation. The best part was eating with your natural born utensils, your hands. The injera (pancake-like flatbread) is used to scoop the food to eat. This is a uber casual mom and pop atmosphere. You can watch sports near the bar area. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The portions are plentiful. This is a good place to meet up with friends and family to eat.Vegetarian options: The meatless options are usually lentils, peas, beans, green leafy veggies, and herbs.“
