We went to one of these in Memphis while on vacation least springbreak so when we found out it was here in Dallas now we had to check it out. Fried Chicken is fantastic, side were very good and sweet tea was perfect.

Gus’s never disappoints. The fried chicken is some of the best in Dallas, with just a hint of heat. Tenders a top notch, too. And the sides are all solid. There’s plenty of parking, which is a luxury in Deep Ellum, and they will validate for you!

I was so excited to visit this new place to me in Dallas!! I had tried it in San Antonio and thought it wasn’t anywhere else 🥺 Well let me tell you, this was a great experience for sure!! Not only was the food as delicious as I hoped but the service was amazing even though they were closing soon (40 min) Our Server T-Payne was very kind as soon as we walked in. Oh get this Free Parking!!
