The breakfast is great!! even when you rewarm the leftovers the oatmeal is still smooth and creamy
I like to say this is the BEST soul food around the Dallas Metroplex. I was told if you give 5 stars that means its no room for improvement.

Hardeman's BBQ & Soul Food serves good food with small portions. The beef sandwich was expected to have a good amount of beef, but the small chopped beef and big chopped beef sandwich were lacking. The potato salad was delicious, and the pecan pie was so good just like grandmas. The greens were nice, smokey, tender, and well seasoned. The cabbage was the favorite side, seasoned through and through, melted in the mouth but still had a slight crunch. The ribs and brisket were great; ribs were tender and could be cut with a fork, and the brisket was thinly sliced. The okra tasted fresh cut and not canned or frozen. The broccoli casserole was cheesy with some bite. The beef tips were seasoned, though some might add a touch more salt. The peach cobbler was nice and warm, maybe a little heavy on the cinnamon. The pecan pie was amazing, delicate, and tasted freshly baked. The banana pudding is a must-have while enjoying the BBQ. The turkey leg is a 10/10. The hog maws are not bad but have not been cooked long enough. The food was a whole lot in the box for the price. Soul Food was there, and BBQ was good.
