Came here for Valentines Day. Service was slow, we saw other tables receiving the prix fixe menu and begged to order off the regular menu but we were denied. Leta disregard that we saw patrons at the bar eating off the regular menu. Let’s go over the courses. Course 1 was supposed to be lobster crepe, it was served as a tiny 1x1 section of crepe. JW Steakhouse is a great place for couples dinners, offering a wonderful atmosphere and a great view of downtown. The staff is great, attentive, and professional, with servers providing exceptional and joyful service. The chef and staff put care into their dishes. The menu is great, featuring a superb and delicious gluten-free menu from appetizers to desserts. Dishes like the Crispy Octopus and Duck breast over a creamy risotto are favorites. Food is accurately and precisely cooked, though there can be occasional inconsistencies like an overcooked Ribeye or a small portion. Sides are à la carte. The atmosphere can be jolly and filled with Christmas spirit for holiday brunch, complete with themed cocktails. While most experiences are outstanding, some find the food quality disappointing for specific meals like Christmas brunch. Many highly recommend the restaurant and plan to return.
