Cannon Bakery is a great local mom and pop shop in the historic Dallas section. It has an awesome selection of candy, chocolate, ice cream, cakes, pastries, and cookies. The cookies are amazing, with unique combinations like maple spice, Texas trash, and cowboy cookie. The brownie with ice cream is highly recommended. Slices of cake are huge, and the chocolate is 10/10. The ladies are great, and the owner is really nice and will answer questions. The shop has lots of seating inside and outside. Prices are steep, but it is a great spot for an experience and to get a sugar fix. For a sudden cold snap, the hot chocolate is a wonderful discovery. The bakery even shares their cookie and brownie base recipes online.
