When I first went into the place it is clean but it is definitely your hole in the wall place. Which those are usually the best places. And it did not disappoint. The chicken was fried perfectly and when you bite into it, it was juicy and seasoned very good! The fries were seasoned perfectly. The rolls are the Hawaiian rolls which are always good! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! I am not a Dallas native but I know good food when I see it! My uncle frank put me on by just the eggrolls alone . if you are a fan of chicken but don't know what to get, start by ordering the #1. It's the perfect sampler. If you are more of a seafood type of person, well there is loads of options from the crab & lobster shrimp fried rice to the seafood gumbo. the wait was under 20 minutes and it wasn't packed in the morning. This is a hole in the wall's hole in the wall. The dining area is quite run down. They were out of large cups. Limited refills. Sweet tea only from a fountain. All red flags for me. But the food!!!! I got the shrimp jambalaya and it was out of this world. Different than in New Orleans but wonderful. I've been back both times I have been nearby.
