The traditional Omakase has an excellent choice of meats and shrimp. My favorite was the pork belly and miso skirt steak. The sake flight was great, helped us choose the right one for each person in the party. So was the service, very friendly and helpful.
My girlfriend and I came to Manpuku for her birthday dinner. The food was genuinely great, but the overall experience was ruined for us. We had a reservation, arrived on time, and were seated. A few minutes later, a homeless man walked in and the staff seated him directly next to me. They then began serving him a large amount of complimentary food. 1. Our food started off strong with soup/appetizer/salad and first set of meat. After that we had a 40 minute wait for some reason and second round of meat came out and the rice/noodles and then we waited another 20 minutes for the next meat thankfully the last three came out afterwards.
