“We had such a great experience. Lizz was our server and she was amazing!!! This was our family’s first time here and we were celebrating our son for earning straight A’s on his report card. They gave him the most delicious donuts and Lizz made really excellent dish recommendations. We will return for sure!!“

“This little spot is definitely convenient.
Ordering online for pickup is also easy.

Thai tea and orange chicken has always been consistent (my kids like love it, definitely big portion)

The Pad kee mao was pretty good and big portion as well.

I’ve ordered banh mi a couple times and it doesn’t hit the spot, like a typical banh mi.

The grilled beef vermicelli was just ok- it’s not the lemongrass/garlic flavor that I’m used to in traditional vermicelli dishes.
(Teriyaki sauce on the beef was definitely strange and doesn’t pair well)

I definitely appreciate this being an option in oak cliff, especially when we are hungry and need to grab something on the way home.

But I would definitely stick to the Vietnamese restaurants in garland and Arlington for the traditional flavors of certain dishes ( like pho, vermicelli, banh mi, & rice plates etc. )

The food is definitely hot and fresh when grabbing to go, but hopefully they will be able to use different containers in the future (the styrofoam is always melted).“

“Started off our meal with “spicy” edamame which wasn’t actually spicy but the flavor was incredible. We had three different sushi rolls and they were all fresh and delicious…highly recommend!“

“My boyfriend and I had our first experience at Elephant East and it was great.

The atmosphere, no matter where you sit, is so intimate and beautifully decorated. Upon arrival you’re given a complimentary glass of champagne, which I thought was amazing.

The hostess was super friendly, even over the phone when booking our reservation, which can be hard to find nowadays. Same with our server, unfortunately I don’t remember her name, but she gave great recommendations for drinks.

We needed up ordering their specialty cocktail “Tokyo Drift” it’s comparable to a Long Island ice tea, in the way that you can’t taste any alcohol but you’ll definitely feel it. The miso glaze sea bass and the fried chicken were to die for and everything was so beautifully cooked. On top of that the crispy ribs to start were amazing, tender, and full of flavor.

All in all we had a great experience and it’ll become one of our rotational date night spots.

PS they have parking validation! Make sure you park in parking garage 10, I believe it’s a 2-3 hour voucher but I’d definitely call beforehand.“
