Picadera @ Trinity Cider is an underrated spot in Dallas serving Dominican street food and hard ciders. The pica pollo is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned with that Dominican touch. The chimichurri tastes like the late-night chimi trucks back in Santo Domingo, with soft bread, well-seasoned carne, and repollo with a perfect vinegar kick. The Chimi Burger is highly recommended, and the Canonísticas de Pollo Guisado and Chicharrón al Tostón are both delicious. Everything on the menu is made from scratch, with fresh, made-to-order flavor. The service is friendly, portions are generous, and the vibe feels like home. The area is perfectly located in Deep Ellum, and the bartenders and chef are awesome. This is the place for anyone craving bold Caribbean flavor or well-prepared dishes.
