Ordered 3 pieces chicken combo. They gave me extra piece to my surprise. No wonder because the chicken were dry and old wanted to get rid of the old ones. The beans and rice smelled spoiled and super dry as well. Stay away and save your money.
Popeyes in terminal a15 dfw airport only taking cash this morning. Seriously!?
I was really looking forward to some spicy chicken and red beans/rice but the geniuses at Popeyes had other plans.
They forgot my side and gave me some gross and wilted French fries instead. They gave me some of the saddest looking tenders you have ever seen.
I ordered spicy tenders but was given original.
I was not given dipping sauce as requested.
Unfortunately, I didn’t realize the errors until I had already left the location.
I filed a complaint with customer service. The agent was kind and empathetic. She asked me for my receipt and pics.
I submitted the picture clearly showing the tenders and French fries.
She replied that the receipt showed double mashed potatoes and not red beans/rice.
I explained that the cashier obviously messed up and EVEN if I had ordered double mashed potatoes, I was given fries instead.
She offered me a credit but I said I prefer a refund.
The agent advised me that refunds are up to the franchise owner. So at this moment, I had a $20 box of fries and bland tenders that I did not order.
I understand mistakes happen, but refusing to refund me is not a mistake. It’s a blatant theft of my money.

Hello,
I am reaching out regarding an order I placed at your DFW Airport location earlier today. After eating the food, both my husband and I noticed that the chicken tasted off. Shortly after, we both began experiencing stomach pain and diarrhea.
We are not from Texas and were only passing through the airport for a flight, so returning in person is not an option.
Given the condition of the food and the symptoms we are experiencing, I am requesting a full refund back to my card. I have attached a photo of my receipt for your reference.
Please let me know what information you need from me to process this refund promptly.

Omg this place us disgusting all across the board! It's FILTHY, no hair nets, barely gloves, food taste like the oil has never been changed! My first AND LAST visit here! It doesn't deserve any stars, disgusting! Shut it down and get NEW People in the ASAP! YUCK!

We have never encountered such a rude employee until today and a disgusting environment. First of all we stood there waiting for awhile with a line of people behind us and no cashier to be found, one of the people behind us saw an employee in the back and waved her down and we asked where the cashier was and she said “I don’t know” but then went around the corner and got the cashier who was in an area behind the wall where we could not see what she was doing but then she proceeded to be so bothered to even have to deal with customers. My husband asked her a question and she wouldn’t even answer him she just pointed to the menu. Her tone of voice and demeanor was extremely hateful. And the inside of the restaurant is covered in trash and food and dirty tables. Whoever was on shift today 03/31/26 around 3:00pm needs to seriously rethink being in the customer service industry because she has 0 customer service skills.

Slow service, dirty restaurant, burned out employees that yell and crack jokes while 10 people are standing in line to order and another 3 are waiting for food along with 1 person waiting on a chicken sandwich they didn’t receive in their order. The employees need some extra help and some type of moral boost from their upper management.
Also, the food made me throw up on my flight yesterday. Do not eat at this place until changes are made. Thanks for the quick response.

If that chicken sandwich was any older, it would have been even more dry and slimy at same time. I think you have to order something special to get fresh food!

Counter staff was overwhelmed and none of the other half dozen staffers were cross trained to fill in. The staffer left for a half hour break, upset that customers were in line. No food served or disposed of for 40
Minutes. Notes food was not pulled down during the half hour, I decided to wait an hour to hope for warm fold ;warmers were not on during the break to keep food at safe temperatures). It was not enough time unfortunately.
Suggest a few things… staff up, on a good day this location is filthy and has hoping the lack of hair nets is an oversight for food service. Health inspections would be good too, and maybe reflect the full menu on the screens. A helpful construction worker helped me out there…it is not mandatory to order two sides and two rolls or even a drink. Just tell the clerk what you want to eat and pay for that.
This was the first visit i was refused a receipt. A red flag in 100 ways, and will be noted.

Severely overpriced and understaffed. The out the door price for 3 tenders is more than $20. If the price was lower I could overlook the slow service. The staff are definitely working but just can't keep up. The owner needs to read the reviews and reconsider pricing and staffing. Please take the opportunity in the reply to my review to share what management has done to improve this in the past year. As it seems the reviews have not changed.

Should have listened to everyone else that said not to go here 🫣 previously had not had popeyes before and this was overpriced and bland. I kind of expected it might be lacking in the seasoning and asked if they have any sauces, was told they don’t which 🤔 Was slightly worried the food may have been undercooked based on color, but thankfully did not get sick after eating.
