Our experience with the family atmosphere and impeccable service with the bartender. Authentic and true to the spices and flavor that one expects from signature Southern Louisiana

Was on Lower Greenville area during dinner time, but everything was packed of course. Decided to go to Ragin Crab for a try. First thing we noticed was that this place was so empty during dinner time, especially being in this area. We sat at the bar, having a drink before looking at the menu for food. I got a lobster poboy with an order of chicken wings. My friend got a order of jambalaya and fried shrimp. The Bartender kept trying to make jokes he thought were funny, but actually sounded passive aggressive/rude. The food tasted like it was right out of the freezer and microwaved. The jambalaya tasted literary like $1 instant rice and the chicken wings were so chalky and salty. Much to our surprise, we got an complimentary order of FLIES on the house. It was literally all over the place as we were trying to eat. All over the food and where you're sitting. By the way it's going, the place is a ticking time bomb and will be gone in matter of time.

Worst restaurant I've been to in years. Food was late, cold, and the place was covered in flys. Staff stared at the phones when it rang and wouldn't answer it, although there were only two of us in the entire restaurant. Place wont be there long.

The food was honesty not the best with the freshness taste of the food. We love to eat seafood and this was way below what Shell Shack would serve. Pretty upset I spent over 90 dollars of food for it not to taste great. There are so many flies inside it truly makes it hard to enjoy the food. The bartender made a us drinks that were so strong that it was undrinkable. The whole Experience was pretty bad. If you are in the area I would strongly recommend you go to Shell shack instead.

Fun atmosphere and vibe, Rollo was a great entertaining server and Christopher is doing a good job as chef. I got the Ragin' Hot seasoning (level 2) and let me tell you it's the real deal, very spicy (but I knew that and I liked it). Prob close to raw habanero level, so adjust accordingly. My friends got mild (level 1) and that's a more mainstream taste.Ordered crawfish/shrimp/potato.Really enjoyed the shrimp/potato, crawfish has always been so-so for me, and they were a little small the time that I went. Great for the pricing. They do run out of some stuff like gumbo/clam chowder, but that's not abnormal for the fresh seafood restaurant industry.Overall good experience, would visit again.

The food was delicious! It was my mom's first time eating jambalaya and fried gator and she absolutely loved it

Very good crawdads man! I did garlic butter and the 2nd level on heat, it was spicy, but extremely flavorful, the outside part was lovely, we were chilling and eating. Will definitely go back again.

If I can give this restaurant no stars I would. I went here back in March expecting to enjoy a really nice lunch, but instead the waitress "Moon" decided to tip her self money off my debit card. Since March it's been a constant battle of responses to try to get them to pay me the money back, I was promised a check in the mail since I am not from Texas and I have yet to receive it and every time I try to get a hold of somebody I am ignored or told "I'll look into it." Do not waste your money, they do not value your business or of the customers. April 6th I had sent a message asking about the check. I have called a couple of days ago and left a voicemail, and as of today May 29th, I have heard nothing.

I loved this place and all their seafood offer, we went in crawfish season which was prepared with their original recipe and was very tasty! You can also get spicy sauce on the side which is really good! Our server was Daniel who was very friendly and made sure we had a great time! We ordered also the lobster poboy which was good as well! Jambalaya was ok... overall the ambiance had nice music and we had a good time! I highly recommend the crawfish!!

Don’t go here! Go around the corner to Shell Shack and save your hard earned money! The service and food is terrible!

My husband and I stopped by to grab a bite to eat. We we’re not acknowledged by staff. I had to ask if we could be seated and there was only one waitress. We seated ourselves and after 10 minutes later still no service. I caught the guy who was working the bar wiping a ladies face outside on the patio. How is it you can find the time to do such as but, not acknowledge potential customers! We left and will Never be back!!

You really cant expect the LOUISIANA FLAVORS IN TEXAS... But this place has to be the worse flavors we have ever had in Dallas...dont get me wrong the meat itself is great...but the added ingredients such as the celery is a NO GO!!!
