There's this window on the side of the wall down in 'Ellum where a lovely senorita takes your order and turns it into magic. The magic is in the details. I ordered a couple Gorditas, w/ beef fajita for my my protein, a street taco and some chips and salsa. Each item was made with love. You can always tell the love and inspiration by the preparation of the ingredients. Cut tiny, yet generous portions. In perfectly-folded, neat, blue-checked paper my lovely Gordita snuggled kissed with soft creamy cheese on top filled with goodness inside. Fresh and flavorful. Needed only a sprinkle more of salt but my tummy was tickled to be filled with such a tasty morsel.. "I'll be back" Grateful, Ms Audra

I love this place. Comfort food served until 3 am! What more could I ask for? The quesadillas are redonkulously good. The grilled cheeses are superb. Chef Fabian is very cool and his staff is always friendly. The place is a hole in the wall just off elm and like the name implies, strictly to go. Fighting through the Deep Ellum crowds and finding parking is the worst part but so worth it. I usually ride my bike over so I don't have to worry about that part.

Perfect grub for after 2am. Be there before the rush though 1:45 am No lines for me buddy, nope. We had the elote and brisket grilled cheese I think , I added a picture- I was tipsy and can't remember the name â€. Dallas had some good a** food btw.

Last week I gave a 5 STAR rating but changed it after last night. SHOOTERS I HOPE YOU READ THIS.... Whoever made the food last night was NOT the same person who made the food last week. The salsa verde last night had a sweet taste.. which is probably because the dishes were not cleaned properly from mixing another sauce... I asked for a side last night and the little plastic cup was not even HALF way full. The garnish was different .... the taste of the tacos were different... and the girl taking our order... served someone ahead of us that ordered after us... we rode our bikes a mile and a half from Downtown just to be disappointed. I don't know who owns Shooter's or who is the chef behind it... but your fill in last night.. DID NOT... keep the standard that was set by the amazing food we got last week... CONSISTENCY... ENGAGING YOUR AUDIENCE ONLINE... and ATTENTION TO DETAIL... I am shaking my dang head.... as downtown residents... very saddened.

Ate here for the first time last night. We got tacos and Mac and cheese, and both were absolutely amazing. I will definitely be eating here much more in the future. The only negative thing I can say is that I didn't find it soon enough!
