Found this hidden gem suggestion at the tower and it was a bit disappointing. I ordered both chopped and sliced brisket and both were cold and lacked flavor. The potato salad was okay and the coleslaw slaw was good. Not impressed with the beans as they were cold as well. The ribs came out last and they were horrible. They tasted burnt and they tried to cover the burntness with extra bbq sauce on them. Not bueno! The best were the onion rings. And of course I must mention the awesome customer service from Jessica whom just started working there but seemed like she had been there forever as she made everything on the menu sound so good. Can't say I will be back, too many bbq places to try in texas.

This place has the best brisket. It is moist, tender, and has a lot of flavor. You don’t even need bbq sauce. Try the onion rings, you will be impressed. The bbq beans are amazing too. I highly recommend giving Sonny Bryan’s a try.

Very good BBQ! The jalapeno sausage is the perfect amount of spice and very flavorful. The brisket was tasty. The pulled pork is best with their delicious bbq sauce. Great atmosphere & plenty of parking.

Was having a rough day, but then I got to try their special with ribs, sausage, and pulled pork for under $20. That's a good deal in this economy. Solid sausage and coleslaw, but the highlights of the meal were the ribs and beans. Those ribs are to die for, and them beans were real flavorful. Thanks for turning my day around. :)

Not great at all, for a place that's been around so long it was definetly lacking. I got the turkey sandwich plate with beans and potato salad and a sweet tea. The turkey sandwich looked and tasted like something out of a public school mess hall. The potato salad was completely mediocre. I don't even know how you can screw up beans, but they did, not bad, just bland. The sweet tea was watered down and barely sweet. Tried some onion rings and they were good, nice thick batter. Wouldn't go here again, I'm coming from Georgia so the standard is high but...

Absolutely DISGUSTING, VERY BLAND HAD TO PULL HALF MY CHOP BEEF OF DUE TO IT BEING ONLY FAT ! I’m pregnant …mind you when your pregnant Is when you get the true taste of food and this is the worst in TX .. IM FROM TX … spent $44 ON BULLSHIT .. that’s what it tasted like . Didn’t even care to take a pic of the rest of the stuff went straight in the trash should’ve went and got a damn refund .

I went there on my home got a poboy and potato salad extra roll. They didn't give me my roll so I went back inside I got no apology and a hard roll. I get home and my potatoe salad is cole slaw. Why can't you get it right there was no other customers they have no reason to mess my order up. I won't be back.

The potato with chopped beef is just ok but the chopped beef sandwich that cost 11 bucks is a ripoff...it's about as d big as a McDouble if not smaller an it is NOT worth the money...the chopped beef itself isn't that great...this once great place is no longer true to its roots by ANY means. 2 loaded potatoes and a tiny sandwich was 40 plus $ and NOT worth it.
