I had been away from home for quite a while and was missing home (without the 6+hr drive) I had seen Taxco everywhere and said to my myself, why not. It was pretty early in the morning when the sun wasn't out yet staff seem tired and kinda like running on fumes (being there, done that). I ordered a plate to calm my mexican instincts and they didn't disappoint. But there's nothing like El Paso/CD Juarez food.

I’ve never left a review in all my years but this story simply must be shared.

It was late on a Friday night and my drunken self had ordered a simple burrito. Nothing fancy. Just something to half eat and half toss in the fridge in this blessed town we call Dallas. Let me tell you… Fortune favors the brave.

I come in for the breakfast tacos. Lili always takes good care of me, and always greets me with a smile and a friendly hello. Tacos are made to order - not off a steam table - and the green sauce is my go to. I need to try the menudo on the weekends.
