Hmmm most of their menu seemed to be breakfast foods yet they don’t do an all day breakfast. Got the enchiladas. Rice was good with flavor and not too salty. Beans had good flavor too but were burnt. Watched them pull the beef for the enchilada and heat in a microwave. Was probably about a 10 minute wait and inside seemed old and worn down.

Cashier at the window today, was very rude. Rolled her eyes and disrespected me in front of my child. This was one of my Go Tos but everyone in there approved the behavior. This is the 2nd time, same employee with rude behavior.

Excellent food. Fresh fried corn tortillas tacos were amazing. I can’t say that I’ve ever had them this fresh. Well seasoned beef and friendly staff.

Generous portions of good food at reasonable prices, served quickly by Dona Elvira herself. Drive-Thru or dine in. Off the beaten track. Lunch entrees $10 to $13.

Not recommended.

It shouldn't be so hard to get some breakfast tacos. Saw the reviews and thought we’d try it so I called once no answer, called twice they hung up on me . Called a third time and a lady answered and stated they only have guisado. Mind you its only 10:30am. Going to attempt somewhere else that actually wants business.

This is my favorite place for breakfast tacos in Del Rio,they are great ! I have also eaten lunch there a few times and it was good also and good service!

In Del Rio for some business and even though they are not in such a busy area it was worth venturing off the main road. Angel was super friendly and made our experience even better!
As an entrepreneur myself Don Elvira is doing good business and serving tasty ? food!
Don’t forget to visit this place it’s so worth it!
Great small buisness and hard working folks even though it’s only a few employees they are sure on the right path to success!

The breakfast tacos are amazing. The gusado, bean and cheese is the best in town, in my opinion, and the salsa is always freshly made.

Doña Elvira Mexican Restaurant is a small place, it is not a luxurious place but its food is good and fresh, the service they offer is friendly and efficient, their prices are very good and the atmosphere you find is calm and familiar, I had breakfast Very comfortable, I will return one day for more.
