Some of my favorite pastor in town! Always fresh, hot & filling.
We came right at 9pm first time customers and the ladies here were so welcoming and took our order anyway! Thank you for the amazing service and the smiles are very refreshing! 🥰

La Vaquerita Jalisco is a great spot for quick takeout or a meal in their comfy outdoor seating. The food is outstanding, with great service and fast turnaround, with one order out in 10 minutes. This is the most amazing Mexican one reviewer has had in Austin so far, and the best food in the Del Valle area. The pastor tortas, Chicken Torta, and Bistec, Pastor and Chicken tacos are all excellent. The birria Ramen and tortas are the best. The horchata agua fresca is a favorite, though some wish for larger sizes. The aguas frescas are the best in Texas, not too sweet and not too watered down, with the cucumber lemonade a particular favorite. The food is so filling, with fresh cilantro and onions, and sides of cukes and radish. The meat is seasoned so savory and delicious, with homemade green and red hot sauce that has a perfect heat. Portions are solid, prices are fair, and service is friendly.
