“Super yummy and fresh Thai food and tea! Great customer service, speedy turnaround, nice outdoor patio. We ordered the Old School Pad Thai (chicken), Thai Me Down, Killer Noodles, and the Thai Tea. Everything was delicious! 😋 We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back!“

“We went for lunch and got our order fairly quickly. We weren't too hungry so we shared 2 dishes. Loved the khao man gai with soup on the side and tangy sweet sauce that comes with it. Boat noodles had bold flavors, which was good. But too salty for me.“

“I reserved online for my daughter’s birthday and got into town an hour earlier and they still were able to accommodate us. At the table with the menus was a birthday card with a really nice and meaningful note on the inside. Staff, drinks, and food were amazing! Definitely recommend checking this place out.“

“I genuinely cried because of this meal. My boyfriend ordered me Thai because it is my number one comfort food, next to mexican (my cultural food). I was having a terribly challenging day and feeling beaten by the world today especially. I am new to Austin and don’t know much about the Thai food here so I took a shot in the dark because I knew they had vegan food from the reviews. Let me tell you I am so grateful I did. Not only was the pad thai some of the BEST I’ve had in my life, coming from someone who spent my childhood being a special guest at all my local thai spots and calling the several special women at each spot my other mothers and tias because of how close we got over the years and how they watched me grow up and how they supported and fed me in my hardest time. But on top of that, they gifted me fresh rolls and that sent me over the edge for a solid 15 minutes. You guys have no idea how much that gesture meant to me today of all days and how much that random act of kindness will lift me up in tough times in the future. Above all, the fresh rolls, pad Thai, and peanut sauce are EXACTLY what I look for when I say I want Thai food. The flavors are perfect and balanced, the noodle choice in both are excellent and the fact that veganizing them had no effect on the flavor (as is not usually the case) is mind blowing. Please try this spot! And thank you to the kind and hard workers that made such a huge impact with only a single meal. May you have many many years of success and growth. :)“

“Excellent service, and decent parking ingredients around S. 1st St.
Had a friendly chat with the lady running the truck, decided on Pork Ga Pao. Told her I love spicy and she gave me the 4 star. It was the perfect level for me to enjoy the heat and flavor. Price was good too as it came out to about $15, which isn't bad at all for two cups of rice and about a half pound of meat.“

“Made Kao Soi tonight and it was so delicious! Tastes as good as any restaurant! I’ve never had luck making Thai food at home until now! I love this! I’ll be ordering regularly now. Sad it won’t be at the Dallas farmers market anymore!“

“This is the my vote for best Thai food in Austin - I've lived nearby for 8 years and we get takeout from this food truck at least 3 times each month. The Pad Thai & Green Curry are my favorite dishes but everything I've had is incredible and the portions are huge + the staff is always fast & friendly. 10/10 - Highly Recommended!“

“We ate at the Anderson Lane restaurant last night. The food was absolutely excellent - fresh and delicious. The Brussels Sprout appetizer would make anyone want to eat their veggies! Portions are generous and prices very reasonable. The service was polite, prompt and attentive. My only complaint would be the large screen TV showing sports coverage -- that's distracting when one wants to wind down over a quiet meal. But overall, we're Mam fans!“

“Thai Fresh is a great choice for online ordering right now. They have a great, delicious menu and also have some grocery items that could be hard to find in this crisis (tofu & tempeh, dairy and non-dairy milk, some meat too). This menu has something for everyone including vegan and gluten free folks. They've also worked out a great no-contact delivery system, making us feel super safe about picking up from them.“

“888 is a staple for any old ATX people who still love the familiarity of their beloved town. They were one of the few that didn't fall to the 'Ronie Days of 2020, and they were one of the first to be available to the public when things went catty wonkus. I've been coming here since my oldest was a toddler, and the long-timers who are holding it down have more or less seen my youngest grow from a tiny spam-baby to a full tweeny monster. The older crew (the ones who have worked there longest) always remember us and always make us feel taken care of.
The food is fast and delicious and you'll most likely have enough to take home or you can share a dish with a friend, as most dishes are generous portions. Our favorites are pho, any of the curries, Tom Kha, orange chicken, crab rangoons, and the vermicelli bowls. The salmon curry is also amazing.
They had a little bit of a makeover a year or so ago, but it didn't take away from the overall charm of the old 888 vibe they had going.
Among the few servers we adore, Binh is our standout man. He's kind, thoughtful, expedient and has the best sense of humor. He hustles his bum off and goes out of his way to make sure not just the tables are taken care of, but I always see him helping out with other servers on top of his own tables. If I ever worked with him in a demanding and fast paced environment, I'd be in really strong and upbeat company. Like Jose at Cheko's, Binh has become a wonderful ATX fixture that deserves some love and praise. Mess with Binh and you mess with me and my kiddos! 🫵🏼 Put it this way, if I ever won the powerball jackpot, not a lot of people would know, but Binh would get a huge surprise from my little family.“
