We really like this little place. The people are very friendly and service is good. The food is very affordable. It’s not gonna blow your socks off with flavor but it’s great for a quick sit down meal. Chips and salsa is good and their plates come with plenty of food. If you like Tex-Mex that’s not too spicy or too seasoned then you will probably like them.
So we saw this place pop up in Texoma Lives and Eats and figured… alright, let’s go see what all the talk is about.

Girasoles Mexican in Denison really surprised me. The food is genuinely authentic and full of flavor. You can tell they care about what they serve. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The outside of the building could use a little attention, but don’t let that fool you. The food is excellent and absolutely worth the visit.
