“My husband and I just tried PappaRoti for the first time, and we’ll be coming back. The Up North bun was unlike anything we’ve ever had before, but it’s reminiscent of a waffle served with ice cream (plus chocolate & caramel sauces) - absolutely delicious! We also tried their iced mocha, which had a strong espresso flavor and no sugar - while the sugar didn’t dissolve super well, what did work was adding some of the melted ice cream … yummy! The barista patiently described the menu items to us and was as sweet as could be. Highly recommend!“

“Everything we ate was fresh and delicious! My order was promptly taken and we sat down with our drinks. The interior is super clean and the ambience is calm. The value for the money spent is unmatched, the portion was perfect for me as well. The chicken teriyaki was juicy and flavorful with a hint of char-grilled goodness. The macaroni was fresh and light and the cabbage salad was wonderfully crunchy and a nice contrast in texture. My only regret is not ordering more food for takeout. “Favorite coffee spot in and around Grapevine. The staff are great, knowledgable espresso peeps who know good measurements, and always give the attention to detail before calling out your order. If you are one to prefer coffee shops where the menu is a classic espresso based menu, with specialties like Matcha, Spanish Latte, and Turkish Coffee + an open and caring staff to still see if they can accommodate the non-coffee enthusiast, I encourage you to give them a try. Their in-house roasted beans are great as well.“

“I have been drinking boba for the better part of 20 years, and I have tried dozens of places. I expected a standard, subpar boba tea place when I went here for the first time. It is the closest boba place to my home, and, upon walking in, you don’t expect much from the place. It’s a small space with post-it notes as decor.

Little did I know, it is the best boba tea I have ever had, and it’s now my go-to for any kind of “comfort food.” My significant other also loves their drinks and food!

Milk T absolutely does not disappoint. I haven’t had a bad drink here, and I haven’t had a bad taiyaki here either. The cheddar cheese taiyaki is like the grilled-cheese sandwich you never knew you needed in your life. The owner is patient and efficient.

Please, give this place a try. It’s hard to find places like this.“

“I heard of Buon Giorno Coffee, from a co-worker and decided to go take a look see, with my wife. As you can imagine there was a small waiting line to purchase our coffee. We purchased two 12 oz drip coffee with a cranberry/orange scone. My wife thought that the coffee was a bit strong for her, but I liked the coffee just as it was, straight out of the pot. The trio that was working behind the counter were, Edson, Nixon, and Ms. Scott and all three were very kind, friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. Would I visit this place again, you betcha and would also recommend it to others no doubt it that. Anytime, they offer law enforcement, military and/or veterans' discount I count that as a plus, plus and will more than likely not only recommend it but will surly return yet again. The coffee is great, the service is excellent and the while concept of being veteran founded and supporting veterans and first responders is beyond awesome. “I am a customer for life! I do not shop chain restaurants/coffee shops. But let's face it sometimes you have to. We one day running errands my hubby stopped at a Scooter's to get me coffee. When the barista explained how many sugar free options were available I was intrigued.....I usually have vanilla as a sugar free option and that's it!!!! Then the customer service!!! Wow perfect

“This was my second visit to Coffee, Tea & Books, and unfortunately, it wasn’t as enjoyable as my first. The strong smell of Fabuloso throughout the space was overwhelming and, to me, smelled like a bathroom. It made it difficult to enjoy the atmosphere.

It’s a shame because I had a much better experience the first time. I would recommend management consider using a different cleaner or a less heavily scented product. Unfortunately, the smell was strong enough that I’m not sure I’ll return.“

“Five stars. Haraz gave me exactly what I want from a coffee shop: something distinctive, beautifully presented, and worth remembering.

I ordered the Sana’ani, a black coffee infused with cardamom. It was rich, fragrant, and smooth, with the cardamom complementing the coffee instead of covering it. I enjoyed it so much that I bought one of their coffee cups.

Then came the desserts: a silky matcha dome cake, warm Bee Bites filled with cream cheese and drizzled with honey, and a creamy coconut cheesecake coated in coconut and finished with a tiny dried rose. All three were excellent.

The entire shop is warm and inviting, with beautiful Yemeni-inspired details throughout. Everything felt intentional, from the atmosphere to the presentation. This was my first visit, and it definitely will not be my last.“

👉 Fix: slice that hot dog in half so it actually fills the roll + add a sauce or seasoning to give it personality.

Good coffee overall, but the lavender flavor didn’t really show up.
👉 Needed just a bit more lavender to balance it out — right now it plays it too safe.

Perfectly filled, soft but holds its structure (yes, I cut it open to check 👀).
